GOING HOME
I was born in 1981 in Kyoto, most historic and beautiful city in Japan. But when I was younger I wasn’t interested in Japanese culture and history. I was just dreaming of traveling around the world. In 2005 I left my hometown and started living in different cities in different countries. 10 years later, I decided to photograph my family and Kyoto to know more about my hometown and regain my childhood memories.

She is now studying and working hard to get a chance see more about outside of China. Her new challenge recently is swimming because like other Chinese people, she doesn’t have much experience. Her dream is to be a great teacher to change China better.
GREATER CANTON
This project is photographed from 2015 to 2017 in China. Area of Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong is called Greater Canton. The economy of this area is experiencing rapid development and the urbanization has unfortunately caused a lot of social issues. This is also my journey to an unknown place and to establish relationship with the Chinese people.
